I running 10.2.8 on flat panel iMac.
I am using latest iTunes.
I recorded streaming music with
"wiretap" software and then
had iTunes convert it to AAC.
The iTunes will NOT burn to CD.
Because it was orignially internet
radio Apple tech support will not
help. I get the error message that these files cannot be burned on CD.
I followed all instructions from Apple
web support and set preferences
on iTunes per tech support.
Anyone have an answer???

How does it compare to an alubook keyboard? Does it have the same feel to it? I'm a bit worried that the keys will not feel as 'soft' as the alubook's.

Don't think you could go wrong with this keyboard. As to comparing it to the AluBook????? I don't have one and my experience is limited to a few keystrokes at an Apple retailer. HOWEVER, it does seem to compare very nicely from my limited experience. Trust me, this is a nice keyboard especially if you are used to laptops. Finally, I think you might be in luck. I believe I did a Google search and came up with some European/Japanese sites that carried this and/or had some reviews of it. I could swear that in a review I came across some info that you could get a BT version of the IceKey. If they sold it here in the states I'd get one as my G5 is BT. My goal is to "cut the cord" so to speak. I highly recommend the Icekey.... good luck. Cheers

I think the discrete gpu was already running at max performance fps-wise, but the firmware update really seems to have smoothed things out driver-wise interface-wise. And Safari seems a lot better too now. Just wish I had an SSD though, as I've heard they all got boot up speed increases.

Are you open to any trades? I have a 4GB White Nano that I'm looking to trade.
I think I'll pass. I already have a mini and I never touch my ipod...it occupies space in my glovebox so it would offer no advantage. Thanks for the offer though!

I am sure they have more than what is here but they keep recounting. Maybe they are trying to make us paranoid. As long as they have 1 I will be happy. They stated they have now counted them all but they won't tell us the number. They just said everyone in line now will have one but again they won't tell us how many.

Last time I jailbrok was my 3G, Now I have an i4 with 4.3.2 and when they went untethered recently I jailbroke.
I havent used many themes long enough to be sure, so this might just be the theme I'm using. However with the Aquarium theme, and I suspect many others, every day I get several banner ads that pop up in the background, behind the icons.
What the heck is the deal with that? I don't need what should be a static background image pulling web content to serve me up ads.
Is this a thing the developer of the theme controls, is it a consequence of having the jailbreak, or something else?
More importantly how do I turn it off.
I searched the forum but could not find a thread that covered this.

They may, or may not. It's kind of hit or miss - it just ask you before you buy if you're sure you want to buy it, so technically they don't have to - Apple understands mistakes happen though, so it may go either way.

Seriously, I think the only real user-serviceable upgrades are the RAM and HDD. Beyond that, you'd be doing some soldering, I think.

I fail to see the need to preserve a baseband that can't be unlocked.
The team isn't going to waste their time working on 3.10 when they can just work on the most recent, or put serious effort into whatever comes with 5.0.
Then they'd just have everyone update to 5.0.
There is the off chance that they'll find a crash in one of the older basebands that was inadvertently fixed in the newer basebands. But I agree in that it probably isn't worth preserving since there's an equal chance that one of the newer basebands will have a crash that wasn't available in an older one... and w/ the iPhone 4 you can only install whatever baseband is being signed at that moment, so preserving a baseband might actually screw one's unlock chances too.
Hopefully they can figure out the NCK Unlock stuff since that'd be just as good as an official unlock. If the key truly is 40-bits, it shouldn't be that hard to brute force. Everything has been kinda quiet lately though, so who knows what's going on behind the scenes. They might even be saving it for the iPhone 5 release
