It could mean that, or it could mean they just haven't updated the graphite versions of the buttons/loading bars/etc yet. I would love to see them offer more color options, but I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up being just blue and graphite again. :o
I think this is the most likely explanation. They changed a lot of the interface elements and it's pretty reasonable to assume that they just haven't updated the graphite versions.

Dual channel memory -- requires pairs of DIMMs that meet the minimum spec.
Machine looks at both DIMMs as one big DIMM.
So is that definitely what i have? it says on some of the memory sites that somes G5s have four dimm slots and others 8. I'm pretty sure mine has 8, but want to verify.

Had it since the day it came out via dodgy methods.
Like people have said, no reason to limit it to NA up to now ...
Dodgy methods? Couldnt you have just signed up for a US iTunes account and downloaded it, then switched back to your normal one? That's how most non-US people got it easly.

As long as you sign up to be a safari developer (for free), then you are officially a developer to apple and can access the videos. So it is free to watch all of the videos, all you have to do is sign up with the safari development program.

$800.
Where did you buy it? I hope it wasn't craigslist. If it was eBay I would print out the listing information just encase if it turns out there's nothing in it. You could then open a case on eBay and demand your money back.

Do you use software for longer?
Are you using different software?
How often is often?
Are there any repeat offenders?
Are you doing different things now?
Your description is incredibly vague.
If applications are crashing, that may or may not have anything to do with Snow Leopard.

I had the same heating issues while playing WoW on my 15" Late-2009 MBP. I began looking at coolers and decided on the Rain Design mStand. While not an active cooler, it does lift the notebook off the desk surface, providing better air circulation. The aluminum design also helps dissipate heat. As an added bonus, it looks great too.

Any of the new iMacs are more than enough. If you look at the top end card they put in the MBP its the same 6750M in the low end iMac. The only difference is the low end iMac has 1/2 the VRAM.
And that is not to put the MBPs down. The 15"ers will serve you well too. The major factors in my mind are, portability vs. extra speed, and ease of repairs. The iMacs are faster and offer more bang for the buck but if the internal HD dies its a PITA to replace yourself. OTOH the MBPs provide less value but replacing an internal drive is just a screwdriver and torxdriver away.

How many times did you try the jb and what were you using? Pwnage or greenpoison? Just because the jb fails once doesn't mean that it was a disaster. Try the jb again.
Tried it with Greenpois0n and it failed so I tried it with Redsnow and it worked. It's tethered, but thats no big deal as I rarely ever turn it off. But now what do I do with the host file? I deleted what I added and now it looks like this. Is this correct?

I've held off on 10.6.4 because of Photoshop CS5 slowdown reports. This update was heavily beta tested from what I remember. Lots of problems. I guess I'll wait till 10.6.5.
Have you actually installed the latest Photoshop update (12.0.1)?

Informationweek article (http://www.informationweek.com/news/hardware/supercomputers/showArticle.jhtml?articleID=229202772)
Jack Dongarra, a computing expert at the University of Tennessee who helped design the technology used in testing systems on the Top 500 list, said he expects more 10-petaflop-plus systems next year. "Everything is moving along according to Moore's law, so things are doubling every 18 months, roughly," Dongarra told InformationWeek.
Dongarra predicted computer makers in 2017 will have 100-petaflop systems, with "exascale" systems between 2018 and 2020. An exascale, or extreme-scale, computer is expected to be a thousand times faster than a petascale system. "All of these things are dependent on funding," Dongarra said in an interview. "This will happen if the funding is in place for those machines."
100 petaflops is 10^17 FLoating-point OPperations/Second.
I'll be sure to buy a desktop 100 petaflop Mac so I can read my email much faster than I can now. :D
Seriously, it's incredible to think about the types of simulations they'll be able to run, including much more sophisticated weather models. However, this article (http://portal.acm.org/citation.cfm?id=1062325) said that we'll need 1 zettaflops for full weather simulation. That's 10^21 operations/second!

Why am I folding?
Because:
1) To help find a cure for disease.
2) To help the MR Folding Team.
3) Makes me feel good to have my Mac doing something important.
4) Keeps me nice and warm during winter (and rather hot unfortunately during summer).
