It is certainly possible that the response was based only on the information available online, but there is no way to know for sure. That is why it is important to get written confirmation that USCIS rec'd your RFE response.

If you are independent contractor you can take some allowed expenses. If you are salaried employee you need to show loss for getting some benefit. Generally if you show loss for 3 years continously then IRS mostly deny on third year. In any case if you take too much expense you are inviting audit and that is going to be nightmare. I do not think it is a good idea to start a company just for expenses unless you are going to do business. Atleast you should be doing independent contracting(corp to Corp).

IV needs more Non AOS filler members to work on any fix that will help non AOS filler. We need to come up with solid number and group to have solid campaign ( Including more funcding drive and participant for campaign ) . Plesae take a time and update poll. I also ask senior member including CORE leader to participate in poll. We non AOS filler are getting idea on how big our strength is and what can be done for next 6 months to get some sort of relief to this NON AOS FILLER as well as AOS filler.

I had infopass appointment 2 days ago to enquiry about name check status. You stand on the line the security guy check your infopass appointment confirmation letter, and verifies the appointment time. if it is > 15 min. then he asks you to come 15 min. before. The receiptionist calls the next person in line. Takes the infopass appointment cfrm letter, and ask for what is the purpose of the appointment. Once she verifies it, If she gives you a token then you will go inside and talk to immigration officer.

All of IV's funds have been used to pay for lobbying, advertising on rediff(not anymore), organization registration, mailbox, domain name registration mainly.
Travel, food, rental cars, hotels for core groups members is not being charged to immigration voice's account and its coming from out-of-pocket of core group.

I know that an amonut of 100K is nothing in trying to bring attention to our cause, but you guys have sure come a long way.

Guys..i have noticed that so many other members has already been complained about the getting Red dots for no reason...i got the red for this post for just a spell mistake. This is too much and IV has to do some thing about this. Otherwise people will afraid or not be willing to post their opinions here...

-> H1 (797 approval notice) is valid
-> you enter USA on AP, you will get AOS status.
-> H1 is still valid but unusable as the status is AOS.
-> If anything happens to GC processing then you loose status, H1 will NOT become a backup.
-> The only way you change from AOS to visa status is by renewing your H1 or change jobs with H1 ( or reenter USA on H1 Visa ).

I would say EB3 March 2005. Remember, after PERM was put into place in early 2005 more people applied in EB2 than in EB3. I am not an expert, please consult your attorney.
